Welcome to the Alabama Bigfoot Forums!
OUR MISSION:
The Alabama Bigfoot Research Forums(collectively referred to herein as the Forum) are intended strictly for the use, conversation, sharing of information, and study of the subject of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, Reclusive Forest Primate (RFP), and other names commonly used to describe a large, hair-covered biped found in many parts of North America, and around the globe.
While we promote open-mindedness, and open and free conversation about this subject, we request and require Forum and chat-room members to adhere to certain guidelines when speaking about this amazing, and to most of the world, "undiscovered" species.
OUR BELIEFS:
Alabama Bigfoot Forum does not endorse the idea of Bigfoot being a paranormal, psychic, telepathic, or alien being, nor are they related in any way to UFO's or alien beings. Please refrain from conversations pertaining to such, as well as other "fringe" topics, unless answering or asking a specific question in regard to Bigfoot and those topics. We believe that Bigfoot is a flesh and blood creature. Forum and chat room participants are asked to use their own discretion when interacting with other members.
Those that refuse to abide by the rules, guidelines, and restrictions on the use of this Forum will be respectively dealt with by the Administrator and/or moderators of this site at their own discretion.
Use of This Site
Participation in the Alabama Bigfoot Forum is based on the sole discretion of its (Admin.) and Moderators.
Because of our past experience, we must require you to explain in your own words what you can bring to this forum. We also need to know all the other forums that you are a member of and the names that you post under on that forum.
Members will be removed without question for the following.
1. Use of a false identity or attempt to hide your true identity.
2. Posting under a different user name if you are a member of another forum.
3. Multiple accounts (joining the forum again under a different name).
4. Returning to the forum and registering under another name after being removed from the forum.

Members are welcome to join in the discussions, leave posts, ask questions, as long as they abide by the posting rules.

Do not repost it on other forums, blogs or in any sort of publication (print or electronic) without first seeking permission of the forum, and of the person who posted it. POSTING RULES:
1. The use of foul language of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Name calling such as calling someone dumb, stupid, or ignorant will get you removed from the forum.
3. Respect each others opinions and do not reply in a harsh manner.
4. Bad remarks about other forums, websites, researchers will not be tolerated.
5. Using the forums to contact other members by email or Private Message in a attempt to draw other members to other forums or websites will not be tolerated.
Contacting other members for any reason other than Bigfoot research through the use of the forums, will be cause for removal from this forum.
Note: Anyone can post a link to another website or forum in the open forums.
6. The posting of political or religious topics is not allowed.
7. The use of this forum for your own private agenda, no matter what it maybe, is forbidden.
Note: (Personal Agenda: Gather information for your private use to later exploit these creatures in anyway. Use this information to hurt, harm, shoot or kill one of these creatures. Gathering personal information about the forum members and their locations though the use of Private Messaging or any other method though this forum.)
8. The use of any information posted here, in anyway, that would bring harm to any of these creatures, in an attempt to make a profit, goes against the true purpose of this forum and will be cause for re-moving you from the forum.
9. Using any information posted in the forum for any use other than research is prohibited.
10. Deletion of Posts or Content:
It is the policy of the Alabama Bigfoot Research Forums not to alter or delete any posts, with exception of violation of posting rules. We will on occasion and at our discretion, edit or delete posts from the forums at the request of the poster. This will be considered on a case by case basis. Posts may also be removed to conserve webspace and clean up old and dead topics.
11. The Alabama Bigfoot Research Forums reserves the right to remove any content, posts, photos if it is felt to be in the best interest of the forums.
12. Use of the Chatroom, Private Message & Email
Chat, PM & E-mail:
All guidelines that apply to the Forum as noted above also apply to the chat- room, PMs and E-mail sent via the Forum. The Forum chat is not necessarily reserved for Bigfoot-related talk; it is also here to help members bond with each other. PMs and E-mail should not be regarded as private correspondence on this forum, as copies are stored in the database, and can be retrieved according to the provisions of Federal (U.S.) Law on the storage and handling of PMs and E-mails under the Homeland Security Act, should they be requested by subpoena.
Your posting name and IP address are logged. Any abuse will not be allowed and you may be banned and your IP address may be blocked from http://www.alabamabigfoot.com forever.

Recent activity has me concerned that some may be using the forum to promote their website and/or their group, and trying to draw members from this Forum to their group/organization.
This concerns me and other members of the Forum. How would you like for me to visit your site/forum and try to draw your members to this Forum?

But that is as far as this should go. Most forums don't even allow this.
Please be respectful in posting links. You don't go to someone else’s house and ask their guest to come over to your house. It is just disrespectful.

You will banned, the posts you have made on this forum will be deleted and we will not reply to emails with questions about why you were banned.
Be respectful with your posts and enjoy the forum.
More rules can/will be added as needed.
Private Messages may be monitored by the Admin. if a violation of the above rules are in question and only at that time.

The Forum Rules have been edited and need to read by all members.
Added are the following.
