This is the boat that I have used a couple of times to get in silently to hard to reach areas for research. I will be putting together a mounting bracket above the dashboard for mounting the thermaql imager. Useing a boat will allow you to get into the really hard to reach areas and silently.

This is the boat that I am bringing to the outing next week. I plan on spending most of the night time hours out on the lake with it. I have configured a tmount for my thermal imager, shotgun microphone, and dvr recorder on the dash. It should provide a nice quiet stable platform for the equipment and a couple of researchers.
