I made a contact with a person who is making parabolic microphones for sound recording if anyone is interested. You can email him if you have any questions.
I have gotten us a little discount for the forum members. Just be sure to mention you are a Alabama Bigfoot Research Forum member.

The cost of materials limits how much of a discount I can offer.
I have compiled the pricing I can offer your group members.

$31 each for qty of 1, $30 each for qty 2 or more

Mike, I own one of those and bought it from Steve off of e-bay last year. The quality of the parabola is good but it's really useless without a CMOY--to boost the power. Buyers will also need to buy separately a stereo microphone because it's setup for monaural use only. I just wanted to tell everone that if they want to amplify the signal that they are recieving and want it in true stereo sound the things that I mentioned above must be done. I would not have known all this if you hadn't helped me last winter and told me what I needed to do. Also, the battery box that you recieve I thought is pretty flimsy and you will have to fashion your own handle---or at least that's the way he was selling them last winter.Oh yeah, you will have to asssemble it and measure the focal point too. Overall--good parabola, the rest is ok if you are handy with tools and aren't discouraged by a small project .----That's my product review, anyway, for what it's worth.---Come on frost and booger huntin weather!!---TnC---
