I've heard and read very good things about the Cuddeback Game Cameras.

My Moultrie got stolen last season.  It was a POS.  Good riddance!!  I won't buy another one of those.

I have and am using a Moultrie.

The I-60 Game Spy infrared camera provides the ultimate outdoor scouting experience. For the outdoors enthusiast that wants it all the I-60 is packed full of great features so you won't miss a thing.

The deer do look at the camera. I have run a sound test and it can be heard and the deer look at it when it activates.

Here are a few photos taken with this camera:

Hope this helps.

My Moultrie was a pre-digital, 35mm film type.  I believe the camera inside it was an Olympus, if I remember correctly.  One of the reasons I bought it was because I thought the camera in it was good quality.  My main complaint about it was that the flash had extremely short range and it triggered so slowly that if the target was walking at a normal pace, all you'd get was the rump.  When I walk tested it, it often would totally miss me when I walked past in front of it at any range closer than about 15 to 20 ft.   It worked ok if the target was feeding and it was daylight.

If the target was beyond about 7 ft away at night, the image started getting dark.  At 15 ft on a dark night, you couldnt tell the difference between buck and doe, and past about 20 ft you saw nothing.  I had more than several rolls of film developed that had not one usable print out of 36 exposures.

So I didn't lament when it disappeared.  I'm glad to hear that y'all are having better results with their newer digital gamecams.
