I spent most of this weekend out in the Green Swamp. It was so wet that most of it is under water. But I did manage to hike for a couple of hours, in water up to my knees. Here are a few pictures to show you how it looks out there.

Here is a rather large hog foot print. I am using my boot for scale.

There are so many wild hogs out there, that the water management district has hired a professional trapper to thin them out. Even the regular hunting season is not taking enough of them out.

Actually I have spent many a day, and on one occaision up to 10 days straight out there. It is one of my favorite places to be.

Nice place SA! Hope you carry some LARGE caliber HOG repellant!! LOL! I have noticed that the HOGS tend to thin out the local snake population.
