I would be prepared for every extreme, cold at night, and warm or hot during the day. It might even rain.

Those coming also need to bring camp chairs, Coleman stoves, and tents if you are camping.

I will also add that the skeeters are still buzzing during the day.  I went hunting yesterday, and it was a good thing to have mosquito repellent (aka: skeeter dope) around.  Although, I am not sure about how BF's might take to the nice aromatic smell associated therewith. So might want to ask before spraying...
I can only agree with Bear in saying that if spending the night, be prepared for any type of weather...  H.F.

Hey Harry,

What's the best size shot to use on those skeeters this time of the year?   No. 9 or no. 7 1/2???   :dude:

I think they've already gathered up all the chiggers and put 'em away for the rest of the year.....

Coonbo,  Harry, please forgive me for jumping in here--- but I just wanted to add a thing or two. Today(Thursday), it's mid-70's and raining. If you have allergies I suggest you bring your medication. The ragweed pollen and mold spore count is off the charts here now.We havn't even had our first frost --let alone a killin one but you know that by the 24th--- typically that will be happening. Chiggers are still active. Picked up some last weekend in Perry county. Botflies are still flying too---buddy of mine killed several squirrels this past week and a couple had "wolves" in their necks. As you well know NE Miss/Nw Ala weather this time of year can be hot, cold or anything in between. Bring your DEET, if you use it. If there is anything that I can bring ya'll from Tennessee just let me know ahead of time.....TnC----

Coonbo,  the skeeters I was looking/swatting/running from.... would need something more along the lines of 30-06...but I was way down in the bottoms where the bigguns are.

The weather can go any direction this time of year.  Today, it is quite a bit cooler and feeling more like autumn.  The night time lows are in the mid 40's and the daytime highs in the 70's..

The chiggers and bot flies are still active, and probably will remain that way until first frost.  As Tennessee said that could still happen by the time next weekend arrives.  So we will just have to wait and see.

I am looking forward to seeing and meeting you all there.  ~   H.F.
