So many times in our adventures in the field, I feel like I am exploring a world that is unknown. Searching for Big Foot and finding them can put you into a place that you feel no one else has dared step. It is an incredible adrenaline rush that gives you the feeling you have stepped into another world, their world. It’s almost like visiting Jurassic Park. I decided to have a little fun, taking the previous recording and spicing it up. I hope you enjoy. I call this Jurassic Park in Oklahoma. Once again allow time for the admin to add the sound to the post. Thank you for your patience.

Wow that was fun. I like that one. I can think of a couple of others that would fit into that theme also.

I would like to tell a little bit about this recording. It was around 2am and only two of us were still up, myself and another female researcher. Everyone had retired around midnight and me and my friend had decided to wait up for Bigfoot Crossroads and a friend of his that was coming with him, they were going to be arriving late. We had been listening to NA flute music for around 30 minutes or so when all of a sudden this one vocal started about 150 feet or so from us.......just outside the campsite. It was very loud, deep, growly with a raspy quality to it. It kept it up and and people were coming out of tents left and right and Fireflies was scrambling for her recording equipment. Everyone knew that the first vocal was certainly an attention getter. It kept it up for a few minutes by itself and then you can still hear it somewhat here on the recording at the very beginning but it is by no means like it was when it first sounded off. It was the typical setting of one lone "something" cutting loose and setting off the yoties but this time they were all right on us.

Well welcome to Texas. The recording was captured at Beavers Bend in Oklahoma. If you will see the Beavers Bend post under this same forum subject, it tells the story behind the original recording.  This Jurassic Park in Oklahoma, of course, is just a mixed recording of the beavers bend and sound wavs from the movie Jurassic Park, lol. In fact, I believe this recording came from your neck of the woods.

Fireflies...

That sounds like any evening on the Barron Fork, between Eldon and Welling...without the T-Rex of course...some folks up here think I am the "neck" of the woods....in my beloved Texas...I'm just another Texan.

live and let live...
