This is a question that i've thought about alot and thought I'd share. Someone,(especialy those who have spent decades in the woods hunting ect.), that has a sighting that never even beleived they existed, what was thier first thought about it? Fear, disbeleif in what they'd seen?

Hey Frog,

Good question.  Also another good poll may be to ask about  those who have  come across so much that is/was unanswered and did not know who, what or why or who to tell.  As my hubby did. Took him 20 years to tell what happened because he had no explaining or listening to  from anyone about  his monster, lol,  from anyone in the 1960's as to what chased him and his dog.  Also, no one believed him.  So he quit talking about it, until lately.

Good questions and hopefully some answers, and nice to meet you.  I have property and lived in Somerset County Pa.  Loved it there and still do. Also, still have lots of relatives in Monroeville, Pa and a summer house in Pocohontas, Pa.  Beautiful area, love it.

goodgoing:)

PS  BTW Frog, what is PPL's, I guess I am too DUH,,,,LOL < I am not a blonde

At our family reunion, last summer, we were discussing the now debunked Bigfoot in the fridge story, and, as usual, I was very vocal about the stories.

My cousin, who lives within a half mile of the Red River, south of Ardmore, took me to the side to ask if I believed that Bigfoot REALLY existed, and I told him YES!!!

He recounted two different incidents that occurred on his farm.  In the first, he saw "something very large, hairy, and on two legs, outside a barn about a quarter mile from his house.

The second incident was down on the river, where he found a wild pig.  Its back was broken, and it had been gutted.  While he was looking at it, he heard a low growling sound, and had some small sticks land near him.  He challenged whatever it was, but nothing replied.

I gave him the addresses of three or four Bigfoot sites, and asked him to consider posting a report.  His reply was that he would "Be laughed out of the community."  He also made me promise not to identify him, which I have done.

First of all, Welcome Charley! Thanks for sharing you cousin's encounters with us. All the things that are posted here are tiny pieces of a very large puzzle. Somday I hope that we have enough of the pieces to answer our questions about this "enigmatic hirstute primate"!  I borrowed that from my friend and great researcher, Mr. Tal Branco!-------------TnC.........
