| Last Wednesday night while Bear, myself, Dan, Vicki and Shane was in Mississippi. Bear took us to the location where him and Skunkape had their encounter back in March. (vicki posted those pixs the other day). We were across from that location and had a campfire going. During Shane's show Bear, Dan, Vicki and Shane was about 50 yrds to my right and I was covering the back side. Vocals were being heard, Dan had the nightvision. I had the other night vision. I was between Bear's and Vicki's vehicle (which was about I'd say 30 ft apart). I was at the back left passenger side when I heard something hit the car from the other side. There was a limb over the back side of the car but what i heard came from the front right passenger side. Well I had looked over to where the others were at and realized I'm here all by myself away from the safety of the group. So I just backed up calmly and walked casually toward the others to let them know what happened. Shane started walkiing with me back to where I was when he stopped while i was getting my video camera to film the wood line. That's when shane had his encounter. Well after awhile when things calmed down. I had to get something out of the car. I said to myself since i'm here I'd might as well look around to see what hit the car. There was a picnic table on a platform beside the car on the right side about a few feet. I looked on the ground and found a few small sticks and i picked one up and threw it at the car to see if it makes the sound i heard. It wasn't. That's when i noticed something on the platform where the picnic table was at and saw this off white thing i picked it up and noticed it was a piece of wood with no bark on it. It was light so I did a test. I threw it up against the car and it made the sound i had heard earlier. So i did another test and dropped it on the hood and it made a roll sound it wasn't the sound i heard. So I studied the piece of wood and noticed where some of the wood was chipped and pieces of it was on the platform and under the picnic table. It had to been thrown at the car bounced off and part of it shattered when it hit and landed on the platform. This is the first time that something was thrown to get my attention. Which is exciting!

| Here is the piece of wood that I found on the platform. I just measured it and it's 2 inches long. Attachment: DSC02524.JPG (Downloaded 45 times)

Sounds like you were right in the middle of the action, all right.
Good investigation skills there finding the branch that was thrown and verifying that it was the one that was thrown.
But a quick question: Who's car were you repeatedly slamming with the stick? LOL

| Here is a shot of the picnic table and Vicki's car. Notice the piece of wood on the platform. The other side of the picnic table is the wood line. Attachment: DSC02526.JPG (Downloaded 43 times)

| No cars were harmed during this test. hehehehe The car's owner is Shasta. The sticks and piece of wood was small enough that it wouldn't damage the car. Now if it was bigger or a rock now that would be different. I wouldn't have conducted the test if it was a bigger and heavier piece of wood or a rock.
