HEY GUYS THERES A MONSTER QUEST COMMING ON DEC 25 AT 6PM CHANNEL 120 (HISTORY CHANNEL) THIS IS A FEW ONES THEY HAVE ALREADY AIRED . BUT THEN ON THE 26TH THERES A NEW ONE ON AND ABOUT SWAMP CREATURES IN LOUISIANA AND FLORIDA. JUST THOUGHT EVERYONE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW . I KNOW I HAVE MY DVR SET TOO RECORD THE NEW ONE,ALREADY GOT THE OLD ONES. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU AND BF TOO! P.S . I recorded the 1st episode on my field DVR , that was the one with Jeff Meldrum on it.
I will also record the others that deal with bigfoot, skunkapes, etc.

If any watched Monster Quest "Swamp Beasts" and you saw Dan Jackson's story, you might be interested to know, if I am correct in my info, I can add this little bit.
I had heard that there was this man that had researched these creatures and after his encounter .. he stopped after this encounter. The shot fired went through a couple of dumpsters. He had emailed me and told me a little of the encounter. To call it scary..doesn't really fit.
I think he caught this creature by surprise and it went into the defensive mode..in a hurry.
Just a reminder to be careful out there.

I think Dan Jackson is right on with his thinking.
There is a BIG difference between surprise and rage!
“I had been lulled into a false sense of security. I always thought they were peaceful creatures. You didn’t see the look in his eyes. This is the story Dan told me in his email.
I wish he would join our group and maybe he will some day. I would never ask.."where" everyone needs to find their place and work it like this man did.
It takes time to figure these creatures out and how they move in an area. You have to get in the area and see what it's like. Spend some time just listening to the usual sounds and when you hear the unusual..you will know it.

MIKE YOU WHERE RIGHT THIS A GREAT STORIE. BUT YOU THINK THEY COULD HURT OR KILL SOMEONE IF PUSHED TOO HARD? AND DO YOU THINK THE WORK NOW IN THE SEARCH FOR THEM MAY PUSH THEM TOO FAR ? DON'T GET ME WRONG I THINK WE NEED TOO KNOW MORE BUT COULD IT BE WRONG? WE ALL KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE WRONG ONES FIND THEM FIRST . OR IF THE BF KILL A HUMAN. AGAIN I BELEAVE IN WHAT WE ARE DOING BY TRYING TO FIND MORE AND TRY TOO PROTECT THEM. BUT NO EVERYBODY FEELS THIS WAY.

I don't think the researchers or pushing them as much as land development and timber cutting. We are no more bother to them than say a hunter or when at night..a coon hunter and we don't have the dogs out there barking.
I still don't believe there is a big danger..as long as you use a little caution and don't call the bluff. There is always that chance you may catch one in a bad mood ..but hey ..that can happen driving down the road minding your own business these days.
