nothing, lately, just a lot a dog barkings late at night that never happened before,,,,
still no frogs, crickets, sounds that used to be so familiar to my area,,,,,,,,,,no night sounds, pretty eerie......wonder where they went...........I do wonder where nature moves to
Also, we used to have millions of peepers, (tree frogs) none of which we have anymore, WHERE DO ALL THESE SOUNDS AND CREATURES JUST GO?_)

We have noticed that when the dogs are barking in a certain area late at night..that is a good sign that something is going on near them. We have heard and recorded knocking real close to the same location when the dogs at the nearest home were barking. Dogs hear a lot better than we do and they hear this and most likely know what is going on out there ..more than we do.

| Goodgoing,as far as the insects and other animals I dont have answer for that.But Mike is right about dogs barking late at night.This has got to be regular thing around my home at night.At first I thought other dogs or deer,but after getting woke up by other sounds not familer to me .Hearing knocking sounds,some whooping sounds ,and several sounds as my wife said sounded like a bunch of apes going crazy.Neighors have been hearing the sounds too.I am within a mile of of research area.I believe that this animals are coming thru late at night forging.Maybe this drought has them have too look for food closer to where people live?Maybe development?Just havent got a handle on it yet!PLOWBOY
