| Even if somebody offered proof, they would be ridiculed by the public and accused of faking the picture, similar to what Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin are still going through.

My question is, if somebody did have a good, authentic picture of BF taken from a game camera, and was foolish enough to send it in, and all the copyrights accorded such a photo, went to the game tracker company and not the photographer, who would be the judges for such a contest? The diversity of differences from boogers in the PNW to the ones in the south, are major enough to cause a true, Bf identity dispute. Chances are that if a game tracker took a picture of BF, it was while the animal was upon all fours, which would be just enough to automatically cause questions to arise as a large number of people seem to think that this animal is only bipedal. If the animal photographed does not look similar enough to "Patty" from the '60's, the ONLY picture some researchers have to rely upon for identification purposes, then this contest means nothing.
The only type of action I see from this laughingstock is that the company will own the photographic copyrights to all photos sent in, which they can do with as they please. The ones putting in all the free hours and hard research into this will get, as always, nothing.
